As a Senior Systems Engineer at Systech Consulting, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients' IT systems.

Responsibilities
* System Design and Implementation: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable IT systems for our clients, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization infrastructure.
* Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
Serve as a subject matter expert on various technologies and platforms.
* Infrastructure Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize existing IT infrastructure to ensure maximum performance, reliability, and security.
* Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to systems, networks, and applications.
Implement proactive measures to prevent recurrence of issues.
* Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards across all systems and platforms.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
* Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Share knowledge and best practices with the team.
* Project Management: Lead IT projects from initiation to completion, including planning, resource allocation, execution, and documentation.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
Evaluate and select appropriate vendors for IT products and services.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on system engineering.
* Proficiency in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex IT systems, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
* Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform (e.
g.
, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
* Excellent knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.
).
* Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.
g.
, PowerShell, Python, Ansible).
* Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance standards (e.
g.
, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR).
* Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects from inception to completion.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
* Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms (e.

* Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.

* Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) and software-defined storage (SDS) technologies.
* Experience working in a regulated industry (e.
