Join Our Team as a Janitor at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort!
Bandon Dunes Golf Resort is seeking a night janitor from 9:00 pm.
to 5:30 am.
To succeed in this position, you must work independently, be dependable by showing up on time, operate standard cleaning equipment, and follow instructions.
Your primary duty will be maintaining the cleanliness of our public areas, including the lobby, restrooms, exercise room, spa, offices, elevators, and hallways.
Your dedication will contribute to the highest sanitation, safety, comfort, and aesthetics standards defining the Bandon Dunes experience.
️Qualifications: Previous experience in a hotel or resort setting is highly beneficial and preferred.
Stellar interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure with minimal supervision.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and nights as required.
Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and appearance in all situations.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record that meets our company policy's standards for operating a motor vehicle.
Ability to successfully pass a drug test and background check.
Physical Requirements: Can you meet the demands of the position? Here's what it takes:
Read and write in English.
Communicate effectively with staff and customers, utilizing two-way radios when necessary.
Follow verbal and written instructions with precision.
Visually inspect all work areas for meticulous attention to detail.
Stand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend, and kneel for up to 5 hours at a time.
Lift to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly.
Equipment Used: Your toolkit will include:
Carpet cleaner
Vacuum cleaner
Commercial washer and dryer
Working Conditions:
Work hours may include weekdays, weekends, and evenings.
Exposure to inside and outside environmental conditions.
Potential exposure to inclement weather, chemicals, solvents, pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, misdirected golf balls, and rapid equipment movement.
Adherence to safety policies and practices is crucial to prevent injuries.
