Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational programs and initiatives
- Oversee curriculum development and ensure alignment with educational standards
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of educators and support staff
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff members
- Conduct research to stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in education
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Manage the budget for educational programs and resources
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs through assessments and feedback
- Coordinate and facilitate professional development opportunities for staff members
Qualifications:
- Higher education teaching experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Proven administrative skills, including organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Experience in budgeting and financial management
- Knowledge of curriculum development principles and practices
- Ability to recruit, hire, and develop a diverse team of educators
- Proficient in conducting research and analyzing data to inform decision-making
- Project management skills to effectively plan, implement, and evaluate educational initiatives
