This is a full-time position working 240 days per year, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: 02/27/2024 at 5:00 pm STARTING SALARY: $83,806 - $90,716 per year JOB SUMMARY: This position will provide a broad range of duties including primary oversight of operations, benefits, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and wellness program.

Assists in managing daily operations of the HR department in a manner consistent with administrative direction, district policies and procedures, requirements of the law, and district priorities and goals.
Regularly collaborate with the HR Director to align departmental goals, strategies, and initiatives with organizational objectives, ensuring seamless coordination and synergy across all HR functions.
Oversee the design, implementation, and organization of the employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
Assists Director in preparing for and conducting union negotiations, including collective bargaining agreements, memorandums of understanding, and resolutions of disputes.
Demonstrates effective and efficient organizational skills under pressure of deadlines, difficult situations, interruptions, and new or emergency conditions.
Communicates clearly and effectively in a variety of situations, including difficult ones, with school staff, agency staff and the public.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel to and from school locations in the Douglas ESD service area and may be required to travel on overnight assignments.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Any equivalent combination of education and experience, which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities required, will be considered.
however, the following is preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
Human resources management experience in education preferred.
Five years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
