The Front-Of-House Manager is responsible for leading and organizing front-of-house staff and overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant and bar at Splitz; to ensure exceptional service and create a memorable dining experience for guests while maximizing guest satisfaction and profits.
*PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction at all times.
* Oversee and manage all front of house operations, including the bar.
* Train and supervise front of house staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely food service.
* Maintain inventory of supplies and place orders as needed.
* Assist in managing operational costs associated with front of house.
* Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
* Monitor dining room cleanliness and appearance, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Ensure staff are following OLCC guidelines for handling and serving alcoholic beverages.
* Assist in coordinating banquets and private party reservations.
* Implement and enforce restaurant policies and procedures.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
* Minimum of 1-2 years previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role.
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
* Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of food industry regulations and best practices for food preparation, safety, and sanitation.
* Ability to interview, hire, train, and supervise front of house staff.
* Must be flexible to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
