The Logistics Manager will assist in the safe operation and maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, and technological systems.
This position is responsible for managing the logistics for Aviva Health such as purchasing, receiving, inventory supplies and delivery of supplies to all clinics.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Supervises and trains facilities and logistics staff as needed; provides direction on duties and assignments and ensures compliance with policies, OSHA requirements, and other regulations.
Assures that a general neat and clean appearance of facilities is maintained, monitoring interior and exterior of facilities for refuse, cleanliness, and safety conditions.
Assists Logistics Director in space, logistic, and budget planning and development; schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs, Provides oversight of all purchasing, receiving, deliveries, and inventory activities for organization; oversees ordering through approved vendors as directed by the Director and requested by department staff.
Assures approvals for expenditures have been provided prior to placing orders.
Oversees maintenance and building improvement projects and performs preventive building maintenance as needed; trains other maintenance staff.
Oversees the inventory, prescribed maintenance, and tracking of logistics equipment and vehicles; makes recommendations for equipment replacement when appropriate.
Oversees and assists the Logistics Coordinator in the control of building access for staff and vendors to all facilities including appropriate key disbursement and tracking, entry and alarm code programming, review of alarm company entry reports, and reviewing of security camera footage.
Participates in the Health and Safety Committee and works closely with the Committee on emergency preparedness, code drills, and emergency plans.
Provides back-up to the Safety Manager to facilitate safety meetings and accident investigations.
Assists with development and maintenance of facility-related policies and procedures.
Maintains current knowledge of OSHA requirements and conducts safety inspections.
Assists with resolution and follows-up on facility-related concerns to ensure resolution.
Provides back-up coverage to event coordinator to oversee, set up and break down conference room tables and chairs for staff and board meetings, workshops and special events.
Assists with responding to after-hours calls.
Assists the Director with contractor bid procurement and inspection of work upon completion.
Follows Aviva Health policies and procedures and performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to work independently; detail oriented, organized, and works under pressure, meeting deadlines.
Ability to maintain complete confidentiality.
High School Diploma or GED required.
3+ years' experience with building management and/or maintenance.
Knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, grounds keeping, and equipment repair.
Must be proficient in Microsoft excel and word.
Supervisor experience preferred.
