1960 Homelite Trail King - $600

The Original Adventure Bike.
These scooters were built by the Clayton B.
Merry Equipment Manufacturing Company, maker of the Merry Tiller garden tiller.
They were sold through Homelite dealers in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s.
The Forest Service used them for off road transportation and trail work, and they were popular with hunters for packing game out of the mountains and with fishermen for accessing mountain lakes and streams.
This one has a brand new vintage 3 HP Briggs and Stratton four stroke engine and a two speed gearbox.
Fully restored, everything works, runs great.
Hinged frame for suspension.
Spare gas tank from a Honda Trail 90.
