Cashier

Vintage 101 in Coos Bay is looking for a part-time cashier/store clerk.
We are a busy downtown location offering antiques, collectibles, gifts, home decor, and a small selection of gourmet chocolates.
We hope to find someone with a flexible schedule who is reliable, easy to contact, and comfortable working with customers of all ages.
Shifts are 6-7 hours per day, 3-4 days a week, Wednesday-Saturday.
Must be available weekends and some holidays.
Responsibilities: - Stock/replenish a small amount of store merchandise - Provide excellent customer service in person and via phone - Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately - Maintain a clean and organized store - dust, vacuum, sweep, etc.
- Assist customers with questions and shopping requests - Use Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions - Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate cash drawer count and discounts Experience: - Experience with antiques/collectibles is a plus - Previous experience in retail sales is preferred - Good communication skills greatly preferred Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
Pay depends on experience.
Sick pay offered after 90 days.
